Dear Students,

WELCOME to third grade! We are so excited about sharing this year with you at Whitson! Third grade teachers are Mrs. Sauter, Ms. Chance, and Mrs. Roediger.

Third grade at Whitson is an exciting year! First off, you will be one of the oldest students in our school with opportunities to set positive examples as the younger children look up to you. We will study new and exciting topics together, such as multiplication and division, Engineering and Science, and Geography and Native American History.

We look forward to seeing you on August 30th, when we will gather in our third grade classroom and begin a great year together!

Below is a list of supplies that you will need to bring to school on the first day.

1 package of sharpened pencils (Ticonderoga)
3 packs of 3 glue sticks (regular size)
1 package colored pencils (12)
1 package of broad-line markers (10-12)
1 pair Scissors (7 inch Fiskars)
1 Composition notebook- 10 ½ in. x 8in. ( Wide Rule 100 Sheets)
1 box of Kleenex tissues
1 box of crayons (24)
1 small pencil sharpener
2 large Pink Pearl erasers
1 package pencil top erasers
1 reusable water bottle

If are able to provide more, we could also use the following items:

2 black sharpies
1 bottle hand sanitizer
1 container of Clorox Wipes
